Rental Program

Keep the cottage for your own use, or Shuswap Vacation Rentals will rent it for you.

It is YOUR choice.

Most of our clientele are repeat guests.  Because of their fabulous holiday experience, we have many families that are hoping you will continue to allow us to rent out your cottage. With weekly rental rates for 2005 (high season) set at $1,600 to $1,800 on cottages 1-14, $2,000 to $2150. for the new medium sized cottages and $2,500 to $2800. on the larger 3 bedroom 2 bath units, these cottages are able to generate substantial return.

Should you decide to have Shuswap Vacation Rentals rent out your cottage, we will handle the following:

·        Bookings and management of rentals between May 1 and Thanksgiving.

·        We will ensure low and shoulder season rentals are spread out between the different owners who have made their cottages available for rental.

·        Arrange for cleaning services, at the owners cost (approximately $75.) after a cottage has been rented. 

·        Bill the cottage owner for any direct costs associated with the rental of the cottage such as replacement of items in the cottage and interior repair and maintenance. 

We will continue to run the resort in the same professional manner our customers have come to expect.

The charge for this service will be 25% of the rental income plus a $300. /yr

advertising fee which covers inclusion in such publications as the BC

Accommodation Guide and the Tourism BC Website.

There is also a $250. spring deep cleaning fee.
